Meet My Family, My Heart & Painting Walls Road Block

My Family, My Heart...
A Close Up of My Awesome Family
4 Children 4 different personalities..... One Husband/Cowboy 22 years on June 18th.

The Cowboy and the Artist...
He is Realistic, I am a dreamer.
He is a saver, I am a shopper.
He is color blind, Hello, I am an artist...
(what was I thinking?)
He is organized, Me not so much.
But, We both love each other, God and our...
FAMILY.
The Cowboy and the Artist have a family....
The oldest is Joshua, He just graduated from a 2 year college
with an associate degree in Graphic Art on the Deans list.
He is looking into The Kansas City Art Institute to finish his degree.
We are so Proud of him.

The Second Child is Jacob, He is a Jr. in high school. His is our
Music Man and plays the guitar, drums and has carried a 3.9 GPA
through out his school years.
We are so Proud of him.

The third child is Rebekah, She is a Freshman in high school. She another
creative spirit, sensitive, smart and intuitive.
She is our cheer leader and photographer.
We are so Proud of her.

And the fourth child, Rachel. She is a 5th grader.
She is spirited, smart and funny! She makes everyone around her smile.
She is our cowgirl, she loves to ride, rope and go fast on her horse.

The Cowboy, My Husband and partner.
I asked God for a cowboy and boy did I get one.
Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it.
He works hard and plays hard.
His is a wonderful father and provider.
He has made it possible for me to stay at home
and be a mom to our 4 children.
I would not have done it any other way!!!

Where does my FAITH come from,
Generations,
My Grandma and my mother are
both Christian women and they
passed down their faith...
TO ME...
They lived it,
they shared it
and
they taught it by example.
What an awesome gift
they have given me...
I will pass it on to my
children & grand children.

If I could share one thing about my family,
they are my HEART!
God has blessed and honored me
by giving me my family.
Thank You God!!!

ANOTHER STROKE OF THE BRUSH...
Road Block on wall paint...

I bought samples of the colors I thought
 I had picked.
Put them up on the walls and they looked
nothing like the paint deck.
So I am off to pick something different.
Of course now that my friends
have seen my palette of colors.
I am getting all kinds of input good
and not so good.
So I am Color Confused.....
Might not get the paint on the walls as
soon as I intended.
I will keep you posted.
I just want to Thank you for  stopping by...
I love your comments...

Spring Cleaning and a Fresh Coat of Paint...Before...

Spring has sprung and I am
having the urge to
change the scheme of
the walls in my...
My Kitchen
 an Old World Color wash.

and my Living Room
Just golden with denim and red accents...

And the down stairs bathroom
This was a denim technique
Sooooo, There you have it,
Time for a new look and a new energy.
I am thinking of doing one color everywhere...
It is a pale lavender with a tinge of gray,
very soft and a nice calming energy.
The kitchen is French County now....
I am envisioning Vintage
with this color swatch...
What do you think?
All my blue ball jars will pop
off the color.
And  I love vintage turquoise it
will be the kitchen accent color.
It looks really nice with these colors too!
I Think I have the plan...
In My Head!!!!
I am hoping to buy the paint today or tomorrow.
Just a matter of finalizing my color palette in
My Head ...of course.
Stay tuned for the After Pics.
Have a beautiful and relaxing Sunday!

Thank you Martha!

Proverbs 6:21 "Bind them continually on your heart; Tie them about thy neck."

Make time to stop by her blog, I am sure you will enjoy
your visit, I know I did.

Another Stroke of the Brush...
So Much more,
In seeking others with a heart for Jesus,
I have found
Beautiful,
Creative
&
Encouraging people.

In seeking, I have found...
My Faith has become even stronger.
I have seen the
LIGHT
 of Jesus
brighter then ever.
In nurturing and faith filled Christian women.
In the comments they have left behind.
Just a tiny foot print that they have even come,  if only for a moment.
They have taken the time to share,
Taken the time to care
&
Taken the time to encourage
MY
 heart and soul.

The truth is... NO seeds... NO harvest.

Gen 22:18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the
earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. In the short time I have been blogging and planting my

seeds of faith.
I can assure you...

I am
reaping so much more than
I have sown.

I share...
But...the Truth
I have received so much more
then I have shared.

I reach out...
But...the Truth
So many more have reached out to
me.

I desire to inspire...
But...the Truth
So  many more have been an
inspiration to me.
 Thanks.
