Fresh Paint At Home, Light for the Path

I've got the new paint on the walls
in my Kitchen and Living Room
Calming, Refreshing and  A Little Shabby
Got some Great Finds for Just a few Bucks.
Everything else I already had in my studio.
I am very Happy with the results,
the color is a Gray purple, very soft and light.
I love your comments, let me know what you think!
 The Studio is next,
Repaint
Re-Organize
and
Rearrange.
I am thinking of setting my studio up to teach in.
Only during the school year, when no kidos
are home.
My ideal goal is to have a shop, gallery & teaching studio.
Got to start somewhere!

 ANOTHER STROKE OF THE BRUSH
Here' a little light for the path...

"I have told you these things,
so that in me you may have peace.
In this world you will have trouble.
But take heart, I have overcome the world."
John 16:33

Trouble is just around the corner in most of our lives.
We can not choose how others act, but we can choose how
we react to others. You CAN have peace in in your life.
It is a choice,  In courage and in faith know that you are never
alone when you choose Jesus.
I have found peace in Jesus and in my perception of any given
incident or situation.
I try to remind myself that most of the time troubles are only
temporary and this too shall pass.
Will you take a moment and leave a comment on how you
find peace in the trials & troubles of everyday life.
I would love to hear from you!!!

Have a Great Weekend!

Hi Deborah,
Thank you for the comment, and I'm so glad to 'meet' you and discover your blog and your wonderful art. I guess it's the season for new paint, your gray/purple looks great!

Oh my, can you believe it? That was the exact verse I meditated on in my morning prayer time! John 16:33 I guess God wanted me to take it real serious! the devil always wants to make trouble for us but we have to be confident and courageous because Jesus already won the battle for us! We have to teach our children this too! Give them their armor! Thanks Deborah for visiting me so i could find you! I'll be wandering around your blog now- Patsy from

Hi Deborah,

The older I get, the more I think I understand why wisdom is granted to those who have lived through many of the bumps and bruises of life. Having gone through things that I didn't like at the time, I know from personal experience how faithful God always is, especially through those times.

I love reading your blog, and I also really like the color palette you posted a few weeks ago. I printed it out and it's taped to my studio wall. Hoping to give it a fresh look this summer! What color did you use in your kitchen? It's lovely!

Hi Deb, Deb here. Found you on Erin's blog. Glad you're gonna join her. I have 2 grown daughters who embraced modesty and will pass it on, praise the Lord! How refreshing it is to see young moms carry on.
BTW, Love the color!

Hi Deborah,

I am so glad to meet you! Thank you so very much for visiting my blog today and standing up with me for modesty.

You are so right...our kids, our whole society is flooded with immoral imagery, even Disney, and we need to guard our hearts and the hearts of our kids.

You have a lovely blog and you are very, very gifted. I can't wait to look around.

Many blessings to you,
Erin

Love this artwork! I would love to watercolor but I am SO not good at it...so I will stick with my papers.

When I am going through troubles and trials I always try to remind myself that...

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Hebrews 13:5
(God will never leave me or forsake me)
Romans 28
(if God is for me who can be against me)

also being an artist I have a visual image in my head of God holding my hand and walking with me never leaving me and holding me up when I fall.
