Praise His Holy Name, Called to Worship

What is our highest calling?

We are called to Worship and Praise

God.

Worship and praise is one of

the most important components in

a Christian's calling.

When we are praising

God our focus is on

our blessings instead of

our fears...
our iniquities...
or our brokenness.
It is in God presence where
we find the true fullness of JOY!
  Praising in faith brings
us into the presence and power of God's promises.

  The psalmist writes this,
 For giving grateful praise.
"1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
2 Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
 Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his[a]; 
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. 
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations."

 How do you Worship and Praise?
I sing along with contemporary Christian
music. (Very Loud when no one is home.)
Shout to the Lord with all your heart
and make a joyful noise!!!

ANOTHER STROKE OF THE BRUSH...

I have been very busy making joyful
art.
Hence, not much time for the blog.
I truly don't know how people manage to blog
everyday.
They are amazing!

Sowing, Growing and Sharing & A new watercolor...

It is planting time in Central Iowa and

the farmers are busy sowing seeds

in the fields surrounding my home.

The tulips are just beginning to bloom

bright vibrant colors, red, violet and yellow.

Thanks to the lady who lived here

before we bought our place.

You see, the truth is, I can paint flowers

but, I really really can not have grow them,

not a green thumb

on either hand.

That is unless I am painting with green....Smile!

If I leave the flowers be, they seem to grow.

If I tend  them, they go....never to grow again.

So I just let nature do its thing!!!

And I do mine...

Another Stroke of the Brush...

 As I watch the farmers sowing their seeds,

It reminds me of my need to

sow Gods words into my

heart and soul daily.

We must make the time

to sow Gods words or

we can not grow

as Christians.

"The Lord your God, will bless you in all your harvest

and in all the work of your hands, and

your joy will be complete.

Deuteronomy 16:15

See as Christians we have work to do...

Sowing,

Growing

&

Sharing the Harvest.

Sow encouragement into a friend soul.

Help someone else grow in Gods Love.

Harvest and share the Love you

have found

in

Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:31

against us?

 how will he not also give us

everything else along with him?

chosen ones?

It is GOD who Equips us."

My thoughts:

 If then God equips us

with all we need to flourish,

 through his Son

 and with his enduring love.

Are we not called to

see that others are equipped

also.

Reach out,

Reach within,

Reach your arms

arround someone

who needs the

Love God. 

As much as I love my own

children, I believe it is nothing

compared to the Love

 God has for his children.

For I can truly say

with all my heart and soul,

I could not hand over even one

of my children,

for the sake of another.

I would surly give my own life, 

before giving the life of one of my children...

How awesome is this LOVE?

Everlasting,

Eternal,

Enduring

&

Never Changing...

Share this love with others and help them to

become equipped in the love of GOD.

 Receive this love by Grace through Faith.

Getting Creative....

Newest Edition to my Art Pendants Collection

These Pendants are made from

100% cotton gauze layered between

to glass tiles

accented with faux 

silver solder tape.

I love to use this technique on my watercolors to

create texture.

Here's How...

You lay the gauze over the area

you want to have a woven

texture.

You paint directly over

the gauze on to your

painting.

You let it dry completely and

then you remove the gauze

and it leaves a wonderful

texture on the painting.

TAKE A LOOK....

 

Examples of using gauze

and

getting

the

sweet

texture

it

leaves

behind.

Thing is I can't throw away the

gauze. It retains all the
color from the paint.

So... I have a whole bowel filled

with all

of the colored gauze.

I love all the richness of color.

I had no idea what  I could use

this gauze for.

Then.....

I was making some pendants

from prints of original watercolors

and spotted the bowel of

color.

Wham,Bam and a new idea!

Fiber Art Pendants.

Each one is an original never

to be recreated.

Reuse, Recycle, Reduce.
