"CHYENNE"
Watercolor and Watercolor Pencil
2007
This is Cheyenne, she was born right
here in our barn...I love babies!
All Babies...
New life is such a miracle...
I did this painting in 2007 from a
photo I took in our pasture.
Cheyenne is a very curious horse and
acts more like a big dog.
So... I staged this photo shoot, I first set the
hat down by her and she proceeded to
studied it for a minute.
I picked the cowboys hat up and held it out to her and she
proceeded to eat it. That my friends
is how this painting was inspired, using
the inspiration that surrounds my daily life.
ANOTHER STROKE OF THE BRUSH....
So....I was looking through my older artwork
and I decided this painting needed
another stroke of the brush.
More Color...
More Energy...
More Attention...
So..How do you know when
a painting is finished?
Or is a painting ever finished?
What are your thoughts?
Here she is....
Cheyenne Refreshed...2011
I think I am finished....???
I am hoping to get some prints made
to sell in my ETSY shop and for the
stores I have my art in.
I really haven't found my balance and
rhythm for this year.
But I am working on it....
"Therefore, since we have been justified by faith,
we have peace with
God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Through him we have also obtained
access by faith into this grace in
which we stand, and we
rejoice in hope of the glory of God."
—Romans 5:1-2
I am standing in God's GRACE
Until I find the...
RHYTHM...
BALANCE...
&
DIRECTION
I seek to make
the dreams God has
placed on my heart
come to fruition...
The seeds have been planted.
I Am Believing his word.
I will rejoice in the hope
the Lord has placed on my Heart.
Sharing...
This photo is the view
in the pasture this winter at sunset.
Embrace the Grace God offers
through his Son Jesus Christ.
He Loves YOU...
“My grace is sufficient for you,
for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
2 Corinthians 12:9

How wonderful that you have horses. your daughters must love them too. I read your post about your daughter's photography. Her photos are great. I especially love the dandelion one!
Many blessings to you ~

That is a beautiful morning image. I have a friend who started a painting of horses about 25 years ago and has yet to finish it. She says she can't find the inspiration she needs now to complete it. So I certainly hope your beautiful painting is complete! :) Best wishes, Tammy
